And then, against the background of the organ, the trumpet enters! The sound hits your heart with an arrow, it beats harder, tears come out from under your closed eyelids, you float.... But the miracles continue: the sound of the trumpet transmigrates, no! - melts - into a voice!

Here the electric chandelier under the ceiling goes out, the sounds of the organ fill the whole space of the temple, the soul freezes.

And then, against the background of the organ, the trumpet enters!
The sound hits your heart with an arrow, it beats harder, tears come out from under your closed eyelids, you soar...
But the miracles continue: the sound of the trumpet passes, flows, no! - melts - into the voice!

And under the high arches a snow-white dove flies
piercing "Ave, Maria!" performed by countertenor Gennady Nikonov.

For the first few minutes my brain refused to believe it was a man singing, I had to force myself to lift my wet eyelashes, turn around and make sure. No, it was him. The one who'd just blown a shrill, amazing sound. I wiped the moisture from my face with the outside of my palms.

That's not the way it is.
That's not the way the voice of a man sounds like this

At the end of the play the audience, as they write in the reviews, was in raptures. I was beating my hands.

And I walked home through the night city, singing "Ave Maria"…

I don't remember such a full house for a long time. Buses brought people from Pskov.
The queue at the entrance was like a queue at the Mausoleum, it stretched along Gagarin Street like a human stream…

And when Gennady Nikonov's trumpet joined the voice of the organ, when between its roulades the voice sounded... Different! From tenor to countertenor (it's a miracle that now I can understand it too!) - my eyes opened on their own. It was important to make sure that all this splendor was the work of (crossed out) voice of one person. A genius!

And yesterday, under the arches of the church, his voice sounded especially bright, because Gennady celebrated his birthday with this concert!
That's what he said: "I'm happy to sound on my birthday!"

May God grant you, Gennady, long years of life and endless opportunity to please ordinary people like me, who have participated in Great Things through you.
To Eternity.
To the Music.

I recently had the pleasure of appreciating Gennady's craftsmanship. His ability to create music is amazing and leaves an incredible impression.

Playing the trumpet requires not only technical skill, but also a deep understanding of the musical language. Gennady displays outstanding skills in both areas. His playing is full of passion, emotion and subtle nuances, which makes each performance unique and exciting.

One of the most important aspects of creativity is also a great interaction with the audience. Gennady doesn't just play for the audience; he creates an atmosphere in which each person feels special, carried away into a world of sounds and emotions.

Gennady Nikonov is a true wizard of sound, and his performances become an unforgettable musical journey for every listener.
